Powder coating is just that, powder.  It is the technique of applying powder paint to a surface.  In powder coating, the powdered paint is electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the part.  The part is then placed in an oven and the powder particles melts to form a continuous and uniform film without any runs, drips, or sags.  During this curing process, a chemical cross linking reaction is triggered at the curing temperature and it is this chemical reaction which gives the powder coating many of its desirable properties.  After curing, it becomes a tough and weather resistant coaring for all of your applications.  The final coating is continuous and will vary from high gloss to flat matt depending on your requirements.  The best example of powder coating is your washer and dryer which have been done at the factory.
